Greetings Everyone!
I hope your life has been as juicy as mine has these last few months...
One of the new things I've experienced is a form of dance/movement called "exquisite engagement." Two people (or more) dance/move together slowly, core connected, in authentic improvisation meditative dance.
I've adopted this movement form as a dance ministry which is part of my greater ministry to heal the split between "sex" and spirit. More to the point -the ability to sense, nurture and utilize sexual energy for spiritual growth (in this dance -without the auto response of taking that energy to intercourse and climax).
This is an area explored in Tantra and other spiritual paths that use sexual energy for spiritual growth. As a Tantric Daka, or Sacred Intimate, I impart my training in the art of sexual ecstacy and energy movement for the spiritual advancement of those that recognize its value.
The "dance" is meant to be performed unclothed but can be introduced wearing unitards or yoga-wear. There is definitely an erotic energy that is part of the dance-play and each person is invited to stay within the erotic energy without going to genital touching or sex. The intent is to relax into the erotic energy and languish in just that resonance -using it to arrive at presence.
The result of the skin to skin contact -as each turns, rolls, stretches, hangs, pulls, pushes, steps, leans, hand-dances, and eye gazes- is a bringing to profound presence in the moment. The dance is a moving-erotic meditation. Those with Tantric knowledge can play with their energy, moving and building it similarly as in maithuna.
I'd like to do this "Exquisite Engagement" dance with YOU! I'll demonstrate with anyone who's interested in learning it. I'll teach couples, groups, or singles. I also have a beautiful, Expansive Love-dance partner who will thrill the men too! Christina and I are available in Santa Rosa and I'm available in Humboldt county and SF Bay area too (occasionally LA).
